Munich, 9 December 2024 – Mellum Capital, a leading real estate capital advisory firm, is further expanding its transaction advisory and capital markets business for institutional and private clients by setting up a new brokerage subsidiary, Mellum Real Estate GmbH. In November 2024, Mellum Real Estate started operating throughout Germany as a real estate investment advisory and brokerage business across all asset classes, further strengthening Mellum Capital's value chain. Tim Schulze Buxloh joined as partner and managing director of the new subsidiary. The 37-year-old investment expert previously spent eight years at Colliers International in Munich as Senior Director responsible for the brokerage of developments, single assets and portfolios and maintains long-standing relationships with project developers, institutional investors and German family offices.
Markus Reule, Founding Partner at Mellum, says: ‘With the expansion of our transaction advisory service business line we are consistently expanding our existing range of services. The new set-up is tailored to the current market phase as we expect significantly higher transaction volumes, especially from restructuring. We are certain that Tim Schulze Buxloh's expertise and network will have a lasting and successful impact on Mellum's existing and future business.’
‘Mellum is one of the most successful investment banking advisory firms in the real estate sector. M&A, capital and financing advisory will remain essential for numerous market participants in the near future.
